Keyword strategy and research

1. Let us help you find the best keywords for your internet marketing.

The very first step in the search engine optimization process is to decide which keywords and keywords to target for search engine indexing. While knowing the products or services of a given company is obviously the key to starting this process, it is still only the first step in beginning the keyword research process for any search engine optimization strategy.

Keywords Study Tools

2. We have the experience of knowing what SEO tools we need and how to interpret their results.

Several keyword research tools are available, both free and for purchase, and although they return similar types of results on what actual searches are performed on different search engines and in which numbers, they are often best used in combination, as each tool’s results appear to be small but significant differences and implications.

Regardless of whether results are given based on monthly or yearly search numbers, most of these tools will return the number of searches for the keyword or key phrase you requested from their database, as well as the number of similar searches performed in connection with your initial inquiry. Although actual returned numbers may vary from tool to tool depending on the source of their data, the number of itself is sometimes less important than the conditions of similar queries. Knowing where the data comes from in each tool, whether it is from ISP logs, actual statistical search engine companies or other sources, also helps to understand the meaning of the data they return. While some tools are helpful in brainstorming ideas for related keywords or key phrases to target in your search engine optimization strategy, others are better suited to knowing the exact order of words in a key phrase typically searched for, as well as singular or plural versions. While these keyword tools prove invaluable in any SEO strategy, it is necessary to know how to interpret their various results, as well as having experience in using them, to really benefit from their use. Our SEO team has an extensive accumulation of knowledge on how to interpret the results of the various keyword research tools in the market, as well as an intuition that results from dealing with many clients from all corners of business.

SEO Copywriting

3. We teach you how to write content to give you the highest possible search engine ranking

SEO copywriting is the technique of writing content that pleases both search engines and website visitors. It is as important to have all the necessary keywords and phrases in the text as it is that the content is well thought out with a clear hierarchy of headings and subheadings. In order for the copywriting service we offer to be successful, whether our experts are writing the text or offering consultations, it is often best to start with a semantic approach. We need to logically plan the type of content for each page or section of your site, starting with general ideas such as main page content and working down to the inside page text, headings and sub-headings of the different pages of your site that will be represented in your main navigation menu.

Planning the different sections of your site in this way allows visitors to have the best site experience. Typically, web surfers prefer to easily browse pages or sections of web pages that have a clear headline so they can access the information they want as quickly as possible, rather than read a page from beginning to end as they would with the page in a book. Paired with logical and intuitive navigation, the site will keep your visitors happy as well as the search engines, as today’s algorithms are better able to distinguish between well-written, organized material and the redundant, nonsensical spam fests we’ve all seen indexed in the past.

Latent semantic indexing

4. We teach you how to write content for a strong web presence that the search engines respect in the long run.

Once we decide which keywords or phrases we want to target throughout your site, there is another consideration to consider before moving on to the next step in seo copywriting. Simply using these keywords repeatedly throughout your content, even if you use them at a safe conservative rate, will not convince Google and other search engines to give you a strong, long-lasting ranking.

Google, along with MSN and other search engine giants, has now incorporated its latent semantic indexing (LSI) algorithms. LSI, first patented in 1988, adds an important angle to how documents are processed for ranking by mimicking human behavior when indexing groups of documents. Instead of indexing web pages based on the strength of one or two keywords on a page, the algorithm will judge how relevant the page is based on how comprehensive the content of your most important keywords is covered. In other words, the more unique, well-structured content you have regarding all facets of a given topic on your site, the higher the indexing it gets. LSI finds that documents that have many words in common are semantically close, and documents with few words in common to be semantically distant. If you emphasize certain keywords on your page without including information that the algorithm considers important or relevant to the topic (based on similar pages), it can lower the value of the web page. The intriguing implication of LSI’s introduction to Google’s search engine algorithms is that unethical SEO tactics for black hat will continue to have even less impact on the manipulation of search engine rankings.

Writing content on a site relevant to the initial keyword research is very complementary to making the site as useful as possible. At, we are proud to offer a complete keyword research service, not only focusing on the original keyword results, but also how these keywords require the presence of additional well-structured content. This is an important part of our search engine optimization services as it will add the completeness, usefulness and unique content of your site, ultimately leading to the widest possible audience for your online presence.

Web standards

5. Our understanding of web standards saves you time and money as well as pleases the search engines.

Web Standards is a set of recommendations published by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C), a group of over 500 member organizations from around the world. The organization was established in 1994 “to bring the network to its full potential”. Included in these recommendations are HTML (Hypertext Markup Language) 4.01, XHTML (Extensible Hypertext Markup Language) and Cascading Style Sheets, Level 2 (CSS2) specifications. In just a few moments you will see how web site development in accordance with web standards not only makes your site easier, less time consuming and cheaper to maintain (along with many other significant benefits), but possibly more important to you, how it will add significantly to your search engine optimization strategy.

Standards are compatible markers

6. Standards-compliant HTML standards today and in the future.

HTML is the author language used to create documents for the World Wide Web, and CSS is the language used in a file separated from html pages to specify the visual properties of the site, including layout. One of the basic recommendations of Web Standards is to separate the content of your web pages (in your HTML files) from the presentation data (CSS) in this way.

Once a webpage is written and published on the web, a validation service can be used to verify that the page in question has no syntax error and that it actually matches the string XHTML 1.0 or HTML 4.01 markup. Strict markup differs from transition marking in that string does not allow the use of older and now obsolete html elements. The reason many of these older tags are abandoned is because they have no semantic value and were used for presentation purposes only. As mentioned earlier, your site’s presentation data should be limited to a separate CSS file. The most important piece of information that is not validated is whether your document is semantically sound. For example, using tables to layout a page html does not give you an error at the time of validation, even if tables are for table data only, not layout. In this example, the validation service would not spit an error due to the fact that HTML tables are allowed when pages are written to a strict doc type, and the validator has no way of knowing that they have been used for non-tabular data, such as they have in this case.

Semantic HTML

7. The experience of our code with semantic html gives the search engines a better understanding of the * type * content it crawls throughout your site.

Once the content of your site is written, site visitors will now have your carefully thought out ideas to read, and the search engines will be eager to crawl your keyword researched to index your site accordingly. While it will be clear to your visitors what this text means by reading it, search engine spiders do not automatically understand what type of content they are viewing as they browse the web.

The description of the data type on the pages of your site is done by using the semantically appropriate html elements (tags) for that content. This will help the search engines understand the difference, e.g. Between a headline or subtitle from just a bold text near the top of the page. A group of related items must be contained in html-ordered or unordered list tags, including any menus or navigation on your site. These are just a few many types of html elements that have some semantic meaning and should be used whenever possible. Generic html elements (those that have no semantic meaning) should only be used when no other appropriate element exists. This situation typically occurs when grouping sections of a web page for layout purposes. One of the biggest mistakes in html semantics is the use of html tables for site layout.

Lossless layout

8. We left table-based layouts in the 90s, where they belong.

During the 1990s and still today, many so-called web developers choose to (mis) use HTML tables to define web page layout. Tables are intended for table information only, such as spreadsheets, and it is semantically inadequate to use them for layout.

Table-based layout schemas embed many and often nested (one into the other) tables, rows, and table data cells into HTML pages, typically inflating the pages to double the file size, creating slower site loading. HTML tables used in this way, often called table soup, will lower the ratio of meaningful data (which you want to have crawled and indexed by search engine spiders) to code on the page. The extra code in this case is what is known as presentation html, which contravenes the basic recommendation of strict web standards, since all presentation data belongs in the CSS file. Search engine spiders crawl a limited length of your page before leaving to index other links on your site, so you want the content of your HTML files to be accessible, with lean, standard requirements, valid markup, search engine spiders feeding just as well very valuable content as possible without unnecessary bloat of the presentation tag file, better suited for CSS.

In the 1990s, CSS layouts were difficult to implement due to the fact that the web browsers were much less standard than they are today. Today’s browsers (Firefox, Internet Explorer, Opera, Safari and many others) are not perfect, some are better than others, but with sufficient knowledge and experience of CSS, any layout is done with tables and furthermore possible with CSS. While it is true that the learning curve for optimized CSS layouts is steeper than using tables, the benefits should go far beyond any concern about time standards compatible with learning standards.

Link Building and Internet Marketing

9. Our understanding of interconnection strategies matches your higher ROI

All SEO experts agree that relevant and respected inbound links and link popularity play a crucial role in any serious SEO strategy.

Directories are one of the many great ways to get links. In fact, in Google Webmaster Guidelines, they suggest that you “submit your site to relevant directories”.

Monthly maintenance

10. If your competition gets stronger, we are there to refine and defend your ranking.

Once your site has all the key optimization elements in place for long-lasting high ranking, you need a monthly maintenance plan. The strong foundation of web standards and semantic HTML on your site does not need improvement, but as the indexing algorithms change (often subtly), and as trends and competition changes, we will be there to defend the ranking of your well-ranked site.

Updating your site with fresh content is extremely beneficial for continued and improved indexing, and we will be there to make sure changes made to your site only improve your listings and we help you avoid making changes, that will do the opposite.
